It is now springtime in California and spring Music Festivals are approaching us. This weekend will be kicking off spring 2018 music festivals with Coachella. Coachella is HUGE music festival with the expected lineup being closed to 120 bands. The bands and acts include big acts like; TheWeeknd, Eminem, Tyler the Creator, Post Malone, Migos, SZA, Miguel, Cardi B, Beyonce, etc.
Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place for two weekends in April every year in Indio, California. The expected dates for Coachella Music Festival is on April 13-15; and April 20-22. In 2018, there are a whopping 125,000 attendees expected at the music festival and may even top off last years’ record breaking numbers. Over the past 5 years Coachella has peaked at attendance going from 99,000 to 125,000. The festival gates will be open at 11:00am on each day, starting on Friday April 13th at the Empire Polo Grounds, 81800 Avenue 15.
Tips for the trip include; bring water, wear sunblock (it will be hot), wear comfortable shoes and clothes, have a meeting place for you and your friends to meet (in case you separate), you’re your cell phone battery, bring earplugs (the music will be loud!) & finally, leave for the festival early in the morning!
